It is an American fashion brand or label named Marc Jacobs, founded and owned by a designer, Marc Jacobs himself. So, in this article, I will talk about a quick biography of Marc Jacobs.
Marc Jacobs is a fashion designer originally from America. He owns a fashion label with the same name, Marc Jacobs. Even though he has his own label, he also was a creative director for Louis Vuitton, a design house from France, for 17 years.
Marc Jacobs born on 9 April 1963, from a Jewish family who lives in New York City. His father was an agent for William Morris Agency, but he died when Marc was 7 years old. Meanwhile, his mother remarried three times, but his mother had a mental illness. So, Marc Jacobs had to live with grandmother.
Education & Career

When he was 15 years old, he got a job as a stocktaker at Charivari in NYC. That is how he started his career. In 1986, it was the first year for Marc to design his collection for his name as the label for the first time. He joined Perry Ellis in 1988 when the founder of the company passed away. He became a supervisor for the woman’s clothing there. However, he got fired from Perry Ellis in 1992.
