Unusual and Fearless: Fashion Innovations Created by Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs did not come into the fashion industry to be ordinary. Pretty sure if you are one of the fans you may have an interesting and unique taste in fashion. He always comes up with something creative that may never cross in someone else’s mind, well that what makes him and his fashion different. Fashion innovations of Marc Jacobs can be seen not only in the clothing line but the runway shows and even his advertisements. Do you want to what are some of his unusual innovations in the fashion industry? Let’s have fun checking some of them out.
Odd ad campaigns
Before talking about the clothing line, let’s start the fashion innovations of Marc Jacobs with his ads. We can not talk about this subject without putting our fingers on the weird and quirky robotic pose by Victoria Beckham. The collection that came in 2008 is also marked the last of Marc Jacobs’s ad that will be starred by Victoria. He stated that they will be using models for the next season. Though it was quirky and somehow cringy, he declared that the ad campaign was a success.
What he said was right, the models were used fr the next season’s ad. Having Cole Mohr as the model in both the collection of womenswear and menswear, yes you hear it right. He was featured in both lines, so the highlight is when he was campaigning the womenswear such as wearing feminine check pea coat together with the black shoes and the purple bag and also wearing a mini dress colored black with a big bow on it. Beside featuring celebrities and models, Marc Jacobs has also become models for his own brand or the Loui Vitton where he worked for a long time.
The bold and eccentric clothing line
Some designers we know may experiments trough designs and colors a making one unique design for his or her collection. But Marc Jacobs would take one step braver for that. let us take examples from the fall collection of 2009. When other designers would go safe with grays or blacks, he was going bold with brights colors for the collection. He implied that bright vibrant colors would add brightness to the gloomy season.
